Let me just say how much I love tap class. I love wearing the shoes. I love the rhythms. I loooveee tap. I may or may not be the star pupil in the class.
My coworker and I tap next to each other. I learn most of the steps quickly. I did tap for a long time when I was younger, and I learned a lot of routines when cheerleading. She learned ONE step before I did and bragged about it to my face. So when I learned another one before her, I turned and yelled, "IN YO' FACE!!!" All the ladies stared. And, I'm sure, judged.
Oh well. It really is a good time. Unfortunately, it's super hot in there, so I'm sweating like a motha trucka. And it's ending the first week in June. Oh noes! What am I going to do this summer without it on Monday nights?!
I don't love the teacher. He goes reeeaaally fast. It's a beginning/intermediate class, and he expects people to pick the steps up so quickly! I do, of course, but there are real beginners in there! Slow it down a bit.
I'm so happy I did this and that my coworker did it with me. It's the favorite night of my week. It starts at 8pm and lasts an hour, which kind of sucks because that's pretty late for me to be out (hahahahhaha), but I can stay out late one night of the week. I just love it. I'm so happy.

I love that you are doing tap. I think it's cool.
When is the recital?
This is so cool! I've always wanted to take a tap class, but never thought about doing it as an adult. You've inspired me to look into it! How many weeks long was your class?
